The Lettergesh Circuit.

“One of 50 places in the world to see before you die.”. – B.B.C Travel 2008

The only place mentioned in Ireland.

Difficulty: 2 -10

Distance: kms

Height: flat

Time: 2 hours and 15 mins

How to get there.

From Letterfrack take the Tully Cross Road to Tully Cross.

Turn right down the hill for 3 miles. Along the coastal road towards lettergesh. When you get down to the beach you will see a parking lot on your left hand side. Park here.(Free parking)

Walk 200 metres back the way you came until you reach a bridge. Turn left and go 300 metres to the next bridge where you take a right turn. Continue up this road past the water tanks about 200m until you come out onto the open mountain. Turn left and continue along the open mountain as it rises up a little. Keeping the cravan park in sight you can continue along over the open mountain just above the stone walls.
